Koch leads Sprint Series of Oklahoma to Wichita Speedway

first_imgBy David Smith Jr.OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – After two consecutive rainouts, the Sprint Series of Oklahoma IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car Series presented by Smiley’s Racing Products make its first appearance of the season at Wichita Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas Friday night.The April 28 event is part of the track’s “Sprint Spring Fling.”Local resident and current series point leader Chad Koch looks to add a second victory to his resume as he leads a talent-laden field of veteran and rookies to the quarter-mile clay oval.Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, military police and fire personnel, and $10 for kids ages 6-10.The drivers’ meeting is at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 8 p.m.last_img read more

WOMEN SENT FOR TRIAL ON €120,000 ARSON CHARGES

first_imgTWO women have been sent for trial on arson charges.Stacey Doran, who is 29 and from Ballybegley, Newtowncunningham, faced two charges when she appeared before Letterkenny District Court.She was accused of arson at Main Street, Newtowncunningham on April 15, 2011.
