Harriet Fox, 86, Wellington: Feb. 12, 1930 – March 25, 2016

Fox, age 86, lifelong Wellington area resident, died March 25, 2016 at Wellington Health and Rehab in Wellington.  Through the years she had worked at Modern Cleaners and Daylight Donut Shop.Harriet was born on February 12, 1930 on a farm near Perth, KS to Erwin Ellsworth Fox and Fannie Belle (Erhard) Fox.  She was a graduate of Wellington High School.She was a member of the First Christian Church, Christian Women’ s Fellowship, and had previously served on the Wellington Housing Authority Board.  Harriet enjoyed baking and making cookies and quick breads and helping people in need.She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Floyd, Roy, Earl, Cleo, Dale and George Fox; and sisters, Evelyn Brown, Ruth Stamper, Frances Struble, Vera Fox, and Elva Brownlee.Survivors include sister-in-law, Alice Fox of Wellington; and many nieces and nephews.Funeral Services will be held at the First Christian Church on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 1:30 P.M.  Pastor Don Bryant will officiate.  Interment will follow the service at Bethany Cemetery in Perth, KS.Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 1 to 8 p.m. The family will be present to green friends from 6 to 8 p.m.A memorial has been established with the First Christian Church in lieu of flowers.  Contributions can be left or mailed to the funeral home.Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.To leave condolences or sign our guest book, please visit our website at www.frankfuneralhome.netlast_img read more
